What is my card worth?
Take one photo. Ripix reads the player, year, brand, set, card number and parallel off the card, checks what that exact card has recently sold for, and returns an estimated value — usually in under ten seconds.
Check a value in three steps
- 1. Photograph the front. Flat surface, even light, no glare or fingers over the corners. Add the back if the card is a parallel or serial-numbered.
- 2. Let the scanner identify it. Player, team, year, brand, set, card number and parallel are read automatically. You can correct any field before saving.
- 3. Read the comp. Ripix matches the identified card to recent sold prices and shows an estimated value plus the condition it assumed.
What actually decides how much a card is worth

- Is checking a card's value free?

- Why is my card worth less than the listings I see online?
- Active listings are asking prices, and anyone can ask any number. Real value tracks completed sales from the last 30 to 90 days. That gap is often 30 to 60 percent on common cards.
- Does condition change the value that much?
- Yes, dramatically. The same card in beat-up raw condition versus a PSA 10 can differ by 5x to 20x. Centering, corners, edges and surface are what graders look at, so scan a clean, flat photo to get a realistic read.
- Which cards does Ripix recognize?
- Baseball, basketball, football, hockey and soccer cards, plus Pokémon. Vintage, modern, raw and graded slabs are all supported.
